Rome 280BC by Rick Westera |
|
|
This scenario is a big improvement
of Microprose´s Rome scenario.
As the name suggests you start in 280BC to build your empire
as the Romans, or alternatively as Celts, Epirotes, Macedonians,
Carthaginians, Ptolemys or Seleucids, every civ is playable
with its own strengths.
The scenario offers a great mixture between the aspects of
empire building and wargaming. Needs the MGE version!!! |

Sons
of Heracles by Stefan Härtel |
|
|
This scenario deals with the development
of Sparta from a little Greek
city-state to one of the most powerful Greek polis. As in reality,
the
Spartans have very strong units here, but it´s not easy
to build up
large armies, because the Hoplites need a lot of food...
Stefan has also annouced that he will update the scenario soon. |

Seize
the Crown! von John Ellis |
|
|
A nice medieval Scenario which
deals with the struggle for the
English Crown in the 12th century between several noble families.
If you loved "Defender of the Crown" or "Lords
of the Realms", you
will also love this scenario. John announced also another version
optimized for multiplayer games . |

Cruel
Sea by Case |
 |
This scenario deals with the battle
in the Atlantic between German U-Boats and allied forces during
World War II. It is one of the few scenarios where naval operations
play the main role, and despite the AI problems with naval warfare
in Civ2 it is a very nice scenario - and fun to play. |

Komnenai
by Maciej Czyz |
 |
Another Scenario about Byzantium,
this time during the age of the
crusades. As emperor Alexios Komnenos you have to reestablish
your empire as the leading power in the east. The most interesting
detail in
this scenario is that you have to train your recruits before
they become
real warriors who can participate in battles. |
